A Helping Hand in East Tennessee
Established in 1974, the East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (ETHRA) is a premier,
non-profit service agency offering programs and services to people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the the 16 county region known as East Tennessee. ETHRA’s wide-ranging service to
the community includes programs that assist senior citizens living at home, disabled people who need transportation to work or the doctor’s office, and programs to provide summer lunches for teenagers in low-income families, and much, much more. Click here to learn more about our programs and services.
First time EVER in 30+ years ETHRA needs your help financially NOW!
Why are we asking for your help?
Increased gas costs have greatly affected our entire operation, driving the cost of services beyond budget. Also, there are a number of programs requiring cash match to continue bringing the services into the region - programs such as Transportation, Homemaker, Long-term Care Ombudsman, Senior Nutrition, and Legal Services for the Elderly.
What are we asking you to do?
Donate! It’s that simple. We’re not offering a golf tournament, a telethon, or anything to buy. We’re just asking you to step up with a check to assure these services are available for your neighbor, your family, your friends. ETHRA is a 501(c)3 and will provide a tax declaration form, but that is not the reason you should donate.
Donate because you care about your community and the quality of life for all. Your donation stays right here in this region.
